Title: Lemon Filbert Logs (Aw)

1cButter
3/4cBrown sugar
1tsLemon rind, grated
2 1/2cFlour
1/4tsSalt
1tbLemon juice
1 Egg white
1tbWater
1cFilbert nuts, finely chopped

Cream butter, sugar and lemon rind until fluffy. Sift together and add flour, salt and lemon juice. Mix well and chill several hours. Shape into logs and roll in beaten egg white or egg yolk mixed with water and then finely chopped filbert nuts. Anna Weishaar
